The Civil War Experience in Washington Territory
We don’t think of Washington Territory – here in the far Pacific Northwest – in connection with the American Civil War. There were, after all, no battles here. Dr. Lorraine McConaghy has researched the territorial wartime experience, and will talk about those issues of the war, that loomed as large here in Washington as they did back east.
