Franke Tobey Jones Celebrates Silver Star Recipients
Aging Services of Washington, the state association serving not-for-profit
and mission driven organizations dedicated to providing quality housing,
health, community, and related services to our state's seniors, recently
awarded the “Silver Star Award” to retirement community employees with
twenty-five years or more of service.
Franke Tobey Jones is pleased to announce that five of their employees received the Silver Star Award. These five employees have served Franke Tobey Jones for a total of 146 years.
Johnnie Fly – 33 years of service: Johnnie has been the lead Dining Server for many years. Throughout the years she has been one that Franke Tobey Jones could always rely on to be there and to do what was needed to get the residents served their meals and help them when needed.
Pauline Lewis – 31 years of service: Pauline is a dedicated, loyal employee and serves as a lead in Laundry Services. She has shown her compassion and caring for residents through her persistence in bettering the service residents receive. At one point Pauline took on the interim position of Environmental Services Director after the previous one retired.
Cresencia (Christy) – 28 years of service: Christy works as a CNA (Certified Nurse’s Assistant) because she is a natural caregiver. She currently works in Our Place – Franke Tobey Jones Memory Care – and her sense of calm and kindness is reassuring for the residents.
Sharon Ramos – 27 years of service: Sharon has worked in every area of Franke Tobey Jones care continuum and currently works in the rehabilitation therapy department. She enjoys having success stories with the many residents who regain their mobility.
Debra (Debbie) Rulien – 27 years of service: Although
Debbie started out as a part time dining room server, she quickly learned
the production side of the operation and advanced into a cook position until
she became the lead cook in our independent living building. Debbie is also
our baker and makes great desserts for all to enjoy.
