Arbor Day arrives at FTJ

group of people celebrating Arbor Day

We could not have asked for better weather for the first Franke Tobey Jones’ Arbor Day Celebration that took place on Friday, April 28th!  The NW sun shone brightly as Memorial Trees with honorary plaques were officially dedicated across from the Care Center.

CEO Judy Dunn cut the ribbon and resident donors and families lay the final soil at the bases of eight Japanese Zelkova Serrata trees, long considered a symbol of protection for villages.  These eight trees will serve as a living tribute that not only celebrates loved ones, but also benefits our FJH “village” by enhancing the landscaping and beauty of our campus for present and future generations.

Our thanks to everyone who made this day so memorable!
