Memory Care Suite #1
FTJ Memory Care features private suites in a secure, home-like setting for seniors with Alzheimer’s or other dementia. Residents live in small groups with 24-hour support, secured courtyards, and shared gathering spaces. MC #1 is a private suite with a private bath. Monthly rent is $10,595 + level of care + a one-time $5,000 community fee. Montessori-inspired programming fosters dignity, purpose and independence with meaningful engagement. Prior FTJ residency not required.
Our Memory Care community features:
- A small group of residents living together in a cozy, secure setting
- Peaceful outdoor courtyards and multiple inviting gathering spaces
- 24-hour personalized supervision and care
- No prior residency at FTJ is required
A Montessori-Inspired Approach to Memory Care
In late 2022, we introduced a new and dynamic approach to engaging residents through Montessori-inspired Memory Care Programming. While traditionally used in early education, the Montessori method has proven incredibly effective for individuals with dementia.
This evidence-based model uses:

- Opportunities to reconnect with positive emotions and meaningful memories
- Purposeful tasks that empower residents and highlight their strengths

Our private suites offer comfort, safety and space for self-expression:
- Large private suites with personal bathrooms and showers
- Secure, beautifully landscaped private courtyards

- Round-the-clock care guided by a team of licensed nurses, activity professionals and certified nursing assistants
- Structured daily routines that promote engagement, familiarity and well-being
- Support with all activities of daily living—bathing, dressing medications and more
- Enriching, personalized activities including Montessori-based programming to make each day joyful and purposeful
