Dog Walking Meet-Up Group

Are you interested in meeting some dog lovers and their four legged friends with whom to walk your dog?  Beginning June 3, at 9:30 a.m., the Leash Brigade, a group of Senior Center participants who walk their dogs together, will start meeting in Baltimore Park adjacent to the Senior Center to walk and let the dogs play.  It’s a very small group and they are trying to grow it.  If you would like to come join them, please do!  They and their furry friends would love to meet you!

AARP Tax Prep Help

If you still need help with your taxes, the AARP Tax Assistance Program is returning June through September, on the first and third Monday, at 1:00 p.m.  It is by appointment only, and you can call the Pt. Defiance~Ruston Senior Center at (253) 756-0601 to reserve your spot.

Are You A History Buff?

Did you know that 2024 is the 80th anniversary of Normandy’s D-day?  The Senior Center has reserved a limited number of seats on  this 2024 tour.  You would have a brief time in London to tour where it was bombed, and then retrace the Channel crossing where the troops traveled when they stormed the beaches.  This trip has much more to offer!!  If you are interested, please call the Senior Center at 253-756-0601.  This is a trip of a lifetime!
