In 2014, FTJ created the Tacoma Senior Living Tour where FTJ partners with four other local Senior Living Communities to host the Tacoma Senior Living Tour. This is a tour open to anyone who wants to learn about Senior Living, and it has been a huge success from day one. Our goal~ to change the perception of senior living from a “stinky, old nursing home where grandma lived,” to what senior living is today…beautiful and spacious including wonderful food, lots of activities, fitness and lifelong learning. A place to live a full life and meet new friends. This tour was so popular, since 2016 it has been hosted twice a year (aside from the Pandemic years). In 2023, the tour was expanded to include eight communities, including Gig Harbor, over two days, with the name changed to Senior Living Tour. It’s still as popular today as ever.
