Jim & Linda Tonjann (Team Members)

It was 1989 when Linda Bacher and Jim Tonjann came to work at Franke Tobey Jones. Linda was married and the mother of two young children when she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  Jim was hired to manage Food Services. 

Fast forward ten years.  FTJ management and staff had undergone major changes. Linda’s personal life had changed also. She was divorced, and at FTJ she had been moved to the front desk, where she remains today as Director of First Impressions. Linda greets people in person or on the phone, and she has the answers to all questions.

Jim and Linda went on their first date in 1999, even though Jim had just been transferred to Oregon. Their long-distance relationship continued for the next two years, until Jim returned to FTJ as Senior Director of Food Services.

Finally, they were married in 2018. When asked what was the best part of being married, Linda said it was that being together has made it easier to navigate the changes that have taken place in the last few years.  (Interviewed by Phyllis Gill)
