Dining

Waitstaff / Server – 4-5 days per weeks with varied shifts (6:30am – 3:00pm and/or 10:30am to 7:00pm).  Must have 7-day availability for work.

Dishwasher – Part time

Clinical Services

Central/Medical Supply Specialist – Full time Monday – Friday (30 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that supplies are ordered, received and delivered
  • Maintain the Central Supply area in a clean, organized, and functional condition
  • Inventory of all stocked items
  • Fill requests as needed
  • Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient
  • Place orders and track requisitions
  • Unpack and deliver items to the requesting department
  • Must be able to multitask, be organized and efficient, report any issues or questions to the Director of Nursing and assist managing the supply budget

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Education: High school diploma, completion of a related certificate or degree program preferred
  • Minimum Required Experience: Two years experience in procurement, preferably in a health care setting including knowledge of budgeting
  • Minimum Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations
    • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, and be attentive to detail
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information
    • Complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Must have a demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly

NURSES, Full time, Evening and Day shifts; OnCall, All shifts

Our Nurses are critical to the efficient operation of our organization and provide valuable and necessary medical oversight and care of our residents. They detect and respond appropriately to the acute and long-term medical needs of our residents, while providing vital patient care services.

Our nurses are respected for their skills and compassion to:

  • Assess resident needs and makes recommendations based on changing needs; Interact with residents, family members, peers, physicians, pharmacists and other health care providers; Administer medications to residents per approved orders in appropriate, timely manner.
  • Administers treatment applications in appropriate, timely manner; treatments may include, but are not limited to: taking vital signs, collecting fluid samples, performing routine laboratory tests, dressing of wounds, etc.; Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, oxygen suppliers and feeding tubes.
  • Maintain resident records, which may include but are not limited to: problem list, Care Plan, flow sheets, log book, communication board; make notes of resident progress on medical record chart; make timely and appropriate recommendations to charge nurse and oncoming staff regarding changes in resident’s condition.

Requirements:  

  • Active nursing license, unencumbered.
  • Education appropriate for licensure.
  • Experience to include internships, NAC experience, specialty training, long-term care experience with the elderly.
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members
    Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities

Effective training skills:

  • Electronic medical record program experience (training provided on PCC).
  • Office Suite skills.
  • DSHS Dementia and Mental Health certificate.
  • Active CPR.

On call nurses and aides are eligible for applicable shift differentials as well as our ‘On Call Bonus’ (paid based on number of shifts picked-up monthly).

Life Enrichment

Therapeutic Activities Assistant for Assisted Living and Memory Care – Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Sign-On Bonus – $1,500

Our Activities Assistants provide a valuable service for our residents, which directly increases the quality of their retirement years. Working closely with other Activities personnel, the Assistant provides support during activity programs that will provide meaningful and rewarding pursuits to enhance the enjoyment of life for our residents.  This position prepares, posts, conducts and documents activities working with volunteers and staff. 

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year experience leading activities with an elderly population
  • Computer skills – Office Suite (word, excel, outlook)
  • WA State Driver’s license
  • Dementia and Mental Health training a real plus!

Wellness Instructor –Part time, 20 hours/week.  Typical start time 7AM, Monday-Friday, hours per day varies based on programming.

The Wellness Instructor for our organization provides a valuable service to all participants in the Wellness Program. This individual is responsible for conducting fitness classes as well as performing regular participant assessments.  Classes consist of a physical exercise portion as well as education in Wellness. The Wellness Instructor is the front line representative with the community Wellness Program. As such, this position is an integral part of the Wellness Program.

Minimum Required Education:  2 year degree in a related field OR certification (education towards these will be considered).

Preferred Education:  4 year degree in related field.

Minimum Required Experience: 2 years’ experience in the fitness field (education will be considered).

Preferred Experience:  1 plus years’ experience in a senior wellness program for those who are 55+.

Minimum Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic education in exercise physiology. 
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members.
  • Able to handle a variety of tasks at once with a minimum of difficulty and distraction.
  • Unyielding, unalterable belief in the Wellness lifestyle and the power of fitness.
