Our Dishwashers have an important role in the smooth running of our food service area, contributing to a well-run kitchen. These individuals follow high standards of cleanliness and sanitation which are reflected in the meal service we and our residents enjoy every day.

Building Services

Housekeeper – full time, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Our Housekeepers have a vital role in the smooth running of our facility, providing the quality service for sanitary and pleasant surroundings for our residents. Maintenance Technician, Full time, Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Performs general maintenance, repair, remodeling and construction duties utilizing working knowledge of several related skill fields such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling, and painting.
  • Performs work in the maintenance, repair, remodeling, and alteration of buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment.
  • Working with the building services team, the Maintenance Tech provides maintenance services that assure regulatory compliance and the smooth operation of building systems.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Preferred Education: Trade school or technical college graduate in related field plus additional courses in air conditioning, heaters, and boiler operation a definite plus.

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 2 years’ general maintenance and/or ”handyman” work experience.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work with demonstrated knowledge and skill in plumbing, carpentry, electrical/mechanical systems.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to problem solve; ability to plan and direct for best use of company resources; and ability to demonstrate and teach various maintenance duties to other maintenance employees.
  • Requires effective communication skills required to communicate information verbally and in writing, understand and explain, in English.
  • MUST have a demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team member.

 Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license.

Clinical Services

Social Services Coordinator – Full Time

Our Social Services Coordinator makes a valuable contribution to our residents’ quality of life working closely with the Director of Clinical Services and all members of our health care staff. This individual plans and implements individual and group programs and services that address the psychosocial needs of our residents to improve the quality of life for each.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and oversees the social, emotional, and related financial needs of all community residents; follows care guidelines; monitors and recommends modifications as needed; meets with and performs individual assessments of residents per approved guidelines
  • Participates in resident admissions (with the Director of Clinical Services); explains our policies and procedures; provides information to residents and their family members/support systems; assists with or completes required documentation and forms
  • Coordinates and participates in resident/patient care conferences; produces and distributes schedules for appropriate staff members; coordinates attendance by residents and family members

Other duties as assigned, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with discharge coordination
  • Participates in regular resident social events
  • Provides a professional resource to other staff members
  • Maintains knowledge of community resources

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: Masters of Science in Social Work (MSW)
  • Minimum Required Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in health care facility, preferably working with the elderly
  • Minimum Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, especially the elderly and their family members and/or support systems; ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team member; Intermediate Office Suite skills.

Nursing Supervisor – NOC Shift – 10:00PM – 6:30AM

Hire on Bonus

  • LPN – $3,000
  • RN – $4,000

Our Nurses are vital to the smooth running of our organization and provide valuable and necessary medical assistance and care of our residents.  They possess the medical education needed to respond appropriately to the acute and long-term needs of our residents, while providing vital patient care services.

Our Night Nursing Supervisor oversees all units and staff — skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care.  RN preferred although not required.

Duties include:

  • Administer medications; makes assessment of patient needs; and makes timely recommendations
  • Administer treatment applications include, but are not limited to: taking and recording of vital signs, collecting fluid samples, dressing of wounds, etc.
  • Monitors, updates, teaches and trains Aides
  • Maintains medical records on residents

Other duties as assigned which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Interacts with family members and peers regarding resident condition
  • Responds to incoming telephone calls; faxes information as needed

Certified Nursing Assistants, Full time, Day, NOC and Eve shifts

As an Aide with us, you’ll participate in resident care management, diet and nutrition, and documentation and record keeping using Point Click Care (FTJ provides training).

Requirements:  

  • Nursing Aide Certification, preferably with experience in a long-term care facility for the elderly
  • Active status on the Registry
  • DSHS Dementia and Mental Health certificate
  • Active First Aid and CPR
  • Demonstrated ability and skill for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members
  • The ability to effectively organize and accomplish the myriad tasks of the position
  • A Functional Assessment (mini physical exam)

Preferred:

  • Electronic medical record skill (training on Point Click Care provided)
  • A High School diploma

On call nurses and aides are eligible for applicable shift differentials as well as our ‘On Call Bonus’ (paid based on number of shifts picked-up monthly).

Our Nurses are critical to the efficient operation of our organization and provide valuable and necessary medical oversight and care of our residents. They detect and respond appropriately to the acute and long-term medical needs of our residents, while providing vital patient care services. Our nurses are respected for their skills and compassion to:

  • Assess resident needs and makes recommendations based on changing needs; Interact with residents, family members, peers, physicians, pharmacists and other health care providers; Administer medications to residents per approved orders in appropriate, timely manner.
  • Administers treatment applications in appropriate, timely manner; treatments may include, but are not limited to: taking vital signs, collecting fluid samples, performing routine laboratory tests, dressing of wounds, etc.; Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, oxygen suppliers and feeding tubes.
  • Maintain resident records, which may include but are not limited to: problem list, Care Plan, flow sheets, log book, communication board; make notes of resident progress on medical record chart; make timely and appropriate recommendations to charge nurse and oncoming staff regarding changes in resident’s condition.

Requirements:  

  • Active nursing license, unencumbered
  • Education appropriate for licensure
  • Experience to include internships, NAC experience, specialty training, long-term care experience with the elderly
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members
  • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
  • Effective training skills
  • Electronic medical record program experience (training provided on PCC)
  • Office Suite skills
  • DSHS Dementia and Mental Health certificate
  • Active CPR
