It is with profound sadness that we said goodbye to Nancy Gee Locke, a beloved former Board Member who peacefully passed away in February.
Nancy spent most of her life in Tacoma and Gig Harbor. She volunteered for over a decade at Franke Tobey Jones, serving as a Board Member, Board Liaison for
welcoming new residents, and eventually serving as Board Chair. Nancy was always at the forefront of FTJ expansion and foresight. She championed innovative change and over the years, opened the doors for generous funding from local organizations including the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation. Nancy recently served on the FTJ Capital Campaign Planning Committee for the new Care Center which opened in 2019.
“I had the opportunity and honor of working with Nancy and always appreciated her kind words and support,” commented CEO Judy Dunn.
“I looked up to her for her integrity and dedication. She set a stellar example of leadership and always encouraged FTJ to be the best senior community.
She will be dearly missed.”
