iPad Donation for the Point Defiance ~ Ruston Senior Center

Upon hearing the Pt. Defiance ~ Ruston Senior Center wanted to add iPad classes but did not have the vital equipment – most importantly, the iPads – Bob and Joan Garden quickly stepped in with a very thoughtful gift to purchase six new iPads.  Last week computer instructor Ron Yaden paid a visit to the Garden residence to show how their generosity was put into action and to personally let them know “iPads for Seniors” classes were beginning the next day.

“We have wanted to offer this class to the senior community for such a long time and we are really excited the day has arrived,” comments Ron. “I told the class how this new program came to be and all of us are deeply appreciative.  One of my students said, ‘This is better than Christmas!’”
