Masks No Longer Required!

We are pleased to announce that masks are no longer required at the Senior Center. In addition, the Senior Center is no longer requiring vaccinations or social distancing. Does that mean you shouldn’t or can’t wear masks?  No, they are considered optional. However, masks are still considered a preventative measure for the Flu and other diseases.

Join Us At Our Holiday Party!

Also, for the first time since the pandemic, the Senior Center will have a Holiday Party!  All the fun will start at 11:00 a.m. on December 15 with Lynn Vrooman at the piano and singing! We will have punch and goodies along with holiday raffle baskets provided by Franke Tobey Jones employees/departments. There will also be giveaways. Catholic Community Services has the following holiday menu planned:  holiday ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll, peaches and apple pie! Please RESERVE YOUR MEAL by Friday, December 2, so we have ample time to plan and order food. Be sure to sign up for the party too! You can do this in person or by phone. 253-756-0601.

It goes without saying that if you test positive for COVID, you need to stay at home for a minimum of ten days or until you test negative. If you are coughing and running a fever, we ask that you stay at home. If you come to the Senior Center and you are sneezing, please do so into the crook of your arm or use a tissue to completely cover your mouth.

For more information call the Senior Center at 253-756-0601.  You can also click here Point Defiance ~ Ruston Senior Center to find out more, view the monthly activity calendars and lunch menus and to sign up for classes/even.
