Community Programs
Many seniors spend time alone, and some of the worst times are in the evening and/or the weekend. With that in mind, the Senior Center will start offering social groups three times a month two starting in August and one in September.
The first group is called “The Breakfast Club” and meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. It will be hosted by Kate Gray and will regularly be at Clubhouse on 6th Avenue.
The second group is the “Prime Time Hop” and meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 3:30 p.m. It will be hosted by Ron Yaden; September 18 will be at Sig Brewing Company.
The third group is a “Prime Time Plates” and meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 4pm. It will be hosted by Chris Johns and the first meeting will be at Cooper’s on 26th St.
We do ask that you sign up for the groups you plan on attending so that restaurant reservations can be made. You are still welcome to join in the fun at the last minute! Meet at the location. Each person is responsible for paying their own bill.
A Look Ahead…..
