Meet Old Friends – or Make New Ones!

The Pt. Defiance~Ruston Senior Center has always been proud to offer top-notch programs—most held right here at the Center, with the exception of our trips. But with new research showing how much isolation can affect every aspect of our lives, we’re excited to introduce something new: meetup groups!

These gatherings are a chance to connect, laugh, and enjoy time with friends—both familiar and new. We hope you’ll join in the fun!

Know Before You Go:

  • Sign up for your favorite group (or all of them!) by calling (253) 756-0601 or registering in person at the Senior Center.
  • Getting there: Participants are responsible for their own transportation, but carpooling with friends is encouraged.
  • Going Dutch: Each person pays for their own food or activities.

The dog walk is a small group from the Senior Center that love their pups and just want to get out of the house and walk their pups with friends!  This group meets from approximately May through September, and is dependent on the weather.  It is always best to call ahead to ensure the group is meeting.  And, yes, you are welcome without pets!  Please register or check for updates by calling (253) 756-0601

Watch for future groups!
