Bridge Class
If you’re looking for a new card game to try out with your friends, Bridge is a great game to learn together. Players split into teams of 2 and try to earn points by bidding and playing cards at the right time. While this classic has a few odd rules, we’ll walk you through everything you need to get started plus offer some helpful strategies for your game.

AARP Tax Help
Tax Season is approaching! AARP Tax Preparers will offer assistance at the Senior Center every Friday and Saturday beginning in February.  Appointments will start in January. Due to high demand, we strongly recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure you get a spot! Limited slots will also be open in late March and early April.

Cozy Crafters
Cozy Crafters begins meeting twice a month in January on the 2^nd and 4^th Thursdays, 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  The first meeting is January 8th.

January will be “Show and Tell.” Bring your favorite craft projects, visit, and snack (goodies provided). 

Time permitting at the January get-togethers, we’ll take an inventory of the craft supplies in the craft closet to see what sparks our imagination for upcoming months. 

We’ll be deciding what you would like to do during Cozy Crafters: work on your own projects, help others get started in your favorite craft, or invite instructors to teach new crafts. Cozy Crafters is YOUR group to “craft” into a fun and creative time twice a month.

Science Fiction Movie Club
The Sci-Fi Movie Club is changing its format.  It will be more like a book club—watch the movie at home and come prepared to discuss.  The movie for January is Inception.  Come to discuss on Monday, January 26, 1pm.

This shift allows us to dive deeper into questions, opinions, and the fascinating correlation between past, present, and future technologies!

Community Programs

Community Programs are in full swing!

Many seniors spend time alone, and some of the worst times are in the evening and/or the weekend.  With that in mind, the Senior Center has started some ‘after-hours’ meetups.  Come and meet new friends and mingle with old ones!

Prime Time Hop w/ Ron Yaden
3rd Thursday of the month. 
Meet at North End on Pearl, 3:30 p.m.

Prime Time Plates w/Chris Johns
4th Thursday of the month. 
Meet at Coopers, 4pm.

Chinese Mahjong
Coming in March!
Learn traditional Chinese Mahjong.  Come learn how to play this fascinating game. 
Tuesdays at 12:30pm, starting March 10.
