Bridging Generations: Time to Talk at Franke Tobey Jones

We are delighted to host a special intergenerational experience in partnership with Lutheran Community Services Northwest.

On Wednesday, March 4, Friday, March 6, and Monday, March 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the FTJ Wellness Center, we will welcome students from Annie Wright Schools for Time to Talk — a meaningful program designed to bring generations together.

Time to Talk offers students the opportunity to connect with older adults and learn from their journeys through life. During these visits, participants may play games, solve puzzles, share stories, or simply enjoy conversation. These interactions help students strengthen their social skills and build deeper connections within the community around them.

For our residents, the program offers a joyful opportunity to spend time with the younger generation, share experiences and wisdom, and gain fresh perspectives from today’s students. The exchange of stories, laughter, and ideas enriches everyone involved and reflects the vibrant, engaged spirit of our campus.

We look forward to these special afternoons of connection, learning, and friendship. If you have any questions about the Intergenerational Program, please let us know. We hope you will join us!
