In December the Health Care Providers Council (HCPC) of Pierce County presented a $3,000 check to our Ruston-Point-Defiance Senior Center and the same amount to 18 other Senior Centers in Pierce County!! The monies raised from the 2025 HCPC’s Guardianship Summit, Alzheimer’s Conference, All-Star Caregiver Awards Reception and Making The Link events were distributed to the senior centers.

Franke Tobey Jones has been a member of HCPC for many years. HCPC’s goal is to provide the highest standards of care and service to seniors in our community.

Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County (HCPC)

HCPC is a non-profit organization that promotes the highest possible standards of service, care, and well-being for older and disabled adults. Since 2000, the Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County has grown to over 300 individuals who represent various organizations committed to providing exceptional services to seniors in our community. Our members enjoy monthly breakfasts, networking events, recognition events, promotional opportunities, employment opportunities and educational events.

Throughout the year funds are raised at our meetings via raffles, meeting and event sponsors, and donations. Each December we donate the funds to each senior center in Pierce County. Funds from HCPC are vital to the daily operations and thriving programs of the Pt. Defiance~Ruston Senior Center. This support allows us to constantly expand our offerings, recently adding popular classes like Chinese and Italian languages, SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life), and Ukulele. HCPC has been a dedicated champion for seniors for years, consistently demonstrating their commitment through their annual holiday fundraiser gift of $3,000.
