Celebrating Our All-Star Team Members

FTJ Team Members Earn Recognition at Pierce County’s Annual HCPC All-Star Awards

Recently, more than 250 guests gathered at Our Church in University Place for the annual Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County (HCPC) All-Star Awards celebration. The evening brought together senior living and healthcare professionals from across Pierce County to recognize individuals whose compassion, dedication, and service make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults every day.

This year marked an exciting milestone for the HCPC All-Star Awards. For the first time, nominations were expanded beyond clinical caregivers to include team members from all areas of senior living and aging services. Residents, family members, and fellow team members from senior living communities, adult family homes, and organizations serving older adults throughout Pierce County were invited to submit nominations. The response was overwhelming, with 226 nominations received, highlighting the countless individuals who make a positive impact in the lives of seniors every day.

Franke Tobey Jones was proud to be part of this special event. Several senior living communities collaborated to provide food and beverages for attendees, and our FTJ dining team did a fabulous job representing our community. Chef Joel and dining team member Maddie Peek-McBreen were on hand to prepare, set up, and serve a delicious selection of appetizers that were enjoyed throughout the evening.

We were especially proud to have five Franke Tobey Jones team members nominated for All-Star Awards. These nominations reflect the appreciation and gratitude felt by residents, families, and coworkers for the exceptional service they provide each day.

We are incredibly proud of these outstanding team members and thrilled that they received recognition for their heartfelt service to our residents. Whether they are providing care, creating meaningful experiences, offering a warm welcome, serving meals, or supporting residents behind the scenes, each nominee exemplifies the dedication, compassion, and excellence that define the Franke Tobey Jones community.

A special thank you also goes to Carole Velez, FTJ Community Liaison, who once again served on the HCPC committee responsible for organizing and hosting the event. Carole devoted countless hours to planning and coordinating this wonderful celebration, helping ensure a memorable evening for all attendees. Her commitment to recognizing and uplifting those who serve older adults is deeply appreciated, and she did a fantastic job helping make the event a success.

The Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting high standards of care and service for older and disabled adults throughout Pierce County. Through educational programs, networking opportunities, community support initiatives, and recognition events such as the All-Star Awards, HCPC helps strengthen the network of professionals serving our region’s seniors.
