From Tacos and Margaritas to Calligraphy to Brain Health…join us!

Tacos & Margaritas

Friday, May 8, noon

Shake your maracas and join us for our annual fundraiser!  We’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo in style with tacos and margaritas at noon and line dancing with Maryanne at 1pm.

Registration is required and your cost is $10.

Game Day

2^nd Saturday of every month at 10am

Come enjoy a morning of friendly competition and fun.  Learn a new game: Bunco!  Play ping pong!  Play any of our board games or bring your own!

Please register, but if you don’t, please just show up!

Calligraphy Class

2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays of every month at 11am, starts May 13.

Learn this beautiful art!  This class is great for beginners and those looking to refine their technique.  Pens will be supplied, but you need to provide lined calligraphy paper that will not bleed.  There are several options in book form on Amazon.

This class is limited to 8 and we have a few spots open yet.  Sign up!

Join our Team!

Mondays 9-3, 9-12, or 12-3

Our senior center is busy and we need more help!  We have an opening for one or more front desk volunteers on Mondays.  We are looking for someone who is friendly, computer literate, and can answer the phone.  This is a wonderful way to meet new people and support the center!  Full training will be provided.  Choose your hours: 9-3, 9-12, or 12-3.  Interested?  Talk to Kate or Lesley in the senior center office.

Master Gardener Presentations

4^th Thursdays, April-September, 1:00pm

May’s Master Gardener Presentation is Thursday, May 28th.  Learn all about Creating a Beautiful, Environmentally Rich Backyard with Birdsong.

Come learn from a pro how to transform your backyard into something joyful and beautiful!  John Avery is this month’s Master Gardener.
