Celebrating Our One Year Anniversary

Care Center room

It’s hard to believe that our two new buildings, the Franke Tobey Jones Care Center and Bristol View Apartments opened a year ago.  Where does time go?!

We would once again like to thank our generous donors who contributed to our first ever Capital Campaign, The Campaign for Franke Tobey Jones: Historic past ~ Innovative future.  The outpouring of community support was amazing.  We raised over $2.5 M to help build the new and innovative Care Center with skilled nursing and memory care.

We are honored to have set a new standard model of care for seniors in our region.

The new Care Center was thoughtfully designed to support the three essential tenets of the care provided:

  1. Preserving DIGNITY and independence
  2. Creating, nurturing and sustaining a supportive COMMUNITY that keeps loneliness and isolation at bay
  3. Staying nimble and flexible to provide the most INNOVATE Care

Because the majority of the Care Center rooms are private with private bathrooms, we believe this has been a vital factor in staving off any kind of colds, flu and COVID.

Our new Bristol View Apartment building (I deleted the beginning of your sentence as the BV opening was reference above in another paragraph) is another sophisticated addition to independent senior living on our campus.  Residents are enjoying this beautiful building with views of Puget Sound, Mt. Rainier and our lovely campus.  While remaining independent, resident are appreciating all the benefits of FTJ offers including the occasional deer wandering in our spacious gardens!
