HCPC All Star Caregiver Awards – FTJ Clinical Team Members Honored!

We are thrilled to announce that several of our exceptional Franke Tobey Jones caregivers were recognized at the annual HCPC All Star Caregiver Awards, a prestigious event hosted by the Healthcare Providers Council of Pierce County (HCPC). This inspiring evening is dedicated to honoring the heart and soul of senior care, those remarkable individuals who go above and beyond to provide comfort, support, and dignity to those they serve.

Each year, this celebration also helps raise vital funds for HCPC’s gifting programs, which offer financial support and charitable donations to seniors in need across Pierce County.

Celebrating the Unsung Heroes of Caregiving

The HCPC All Star Caregiver Awards shine a spotlight on both paid and unpaid caregivers who consistently demonstrate compassion, integrity, and excellence in care. Nominations are submitted by family members, coworkers, and business leaders who witness firsthand the life-changing impact these caregivers have every day.

Franke Tobey Jones Honorees

At Franke Tobey Jones, we are incredibly proud of our outstanding clinical team. This year, our Community Liaison Carole Velez championed the call for nominations, encouraging families, residents, and team members alike to recognize the dedication of our caregivers. Thanks to her efforts, and the heartfelt testimonials from our community, FTJ was proudly represented with an impressive number of nominations.

In total, there were 210 caregiver nominations from across Pierce County, and 18 caregivers were presented with All Star Caregiver of the Year awards.  Winners received a gift card, photo opportunity and special recognition.

The evening celebration was attended by 250+ people and was hosted by Our Church in University Place in a warm, joyful atmosphere filled with gratitude and festivity. Laughter, tears and heartfelt stories filled the room as the community came together to lift up those who give so much of themselves to care for others.

Caregiving is more than a profession, it is a calling. And it takes truly extraordinary people to serve with the level of compassion, skill, and love that our seniors deserve.
